This article explains where the money comes from, which ranges are typical, and what separates the accounts that grow from the ones that stall.

The famous names you read about brought millions of followers with them before they opened an account. Their income says nothing about yours.

For everyone else, the platform is a shop with no shop window. Nobody finds you by browsing OnlyFans. Every subscriber comes from somewhere else: Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, X, a link in a bio. If that stream is empty, the shop is empty, no matter how good the content is.

Why so many creators get stuck

Unclear positioning. If a fan cannot say in one sentence what your page is about, they will not pay for it. "Sexy content" is not a position.

Depending on your turnover you may fall under the small business rule (Kleinunternehmerregelung), which simplifies VAT (Umsatzsteuer) but has a turnover cap. Income tax (Einkommensteuer) applies to your profit either way.
